Expect Crazy Show Musically- Busy Signal

Busy Signal in Malawi










Thousands of Malawians gathered at Lilongwe Mall famously known as Game Complex to see the Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall artist, Busy Signal who is expected to perform this Saturday at Civo Stadium in the capital city, Lilongwe.


Fans endured several hours of waiting until 15:00 hours when they finally saw helicopter carrying Busy Signal flying over their heads. With loud cheers and waving they welcomed the Jamaican artist with hero’s welcome, chanting his songs particularly Free Up Black People.

“Expect crazy show musically.” Signal told thrilled fans after an ‘appetizer’ performance, Free Up Black People and Reggae Music Again.

In an interview he said he is happy to be back in Malawi and feels like he is home.

“I am ready to deliver music to the people, giving them the performance they have been waiting for so long” then added “It is going to be splendid and fire musically”









He was then taken to Gateway Mall where he watched some of Malawi’s traditional dances including, Beni and Malipenga. And a lot of fans who did not see him at Game Complex also gathered in large numbers.

Managing Director for Impact Events, Lucius Banda, assured the crowd that the show is on and should expect the best show during this return of Busy Signal.

“You know Busy Signal performed last year at Sand Music Festival and he performed for three hours and this time around expect the best.” He said

The Saturday show will include live stage performance of other accomplished names in local scene, including Lucius Banda, Wendy Harawa, among others including several new and upcoming artists.
