The moment that Malawians have been waiting to see a renowned Gospel musician, Don Moen performing live in the country is finally here, as today in the afternoon, Don Moen will begin his two day musical performance at the Love Malawi Festival.
American Praise and Worship Leader, Don Moen will perform live each day in the afternoon along with Dave Lubben at the Love Malawi Festival taking place in Lilongwe in the open fields near Maula Prison.
These two international gospel artists will share stage with Malawian artists; Great Angels Choir, Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers, KBG, Faith Mussa, Suffix, and Love Malawi Choir.
Apart from
music, the festival will feature a high energy children’s program with Duggie
Dug Dug from London, England as well as action sports demos from FMX and BMX
stunt team Action Sports Outreach. The
riders are from South Africa and the United States.

This Saturday,
August 20 August up to Sunday August 21, 2016 is the conclusion of the festival
and each day Andrew Palau will share a message of love and hope for Malawi.
Love Malawi festival
began with events in Mzuzu and Ntcheu during the first week of August as well
as in Zomba and Blantyre during the second week of August including Dzaleka
Refugee Camp.
This event is a
partnership between the Luis Palau Association based in Portland, Oregon and
currently over 500 partnering churches in the City of Lilongwe. The local
leadership planning this festival involves over 200 volunteers from every major
denomination in the city under the umbrella of the Evangelical Association of
Malawi (EAM).
