Sunbird Search for a Star Grand Prize Winner Adrian Kwelepeta has revealed that he is currently working with Leme in the Capital City’s Area 15.
According to Adrian the track will be ready on 30th December this year and it is titled New Year.
Adrian a Lilongwe based star and a guitarist himself has revealed that his upcoming hit is a solo which will have a blend of live and studio instruments.
“I am going to play the Guitar by myself and the song will be half digital and half live instruments. So Malawians should be on the watch out on 30th when the song is going to make noise” Said Adrian
Adrian assured fans not to let them down “My promise to my fans is that they should really expect a lot from me they should expect something serious and audible. It is going to be different and unique to make Malawians feel of what I really do.”
He added that his hit will be of his own style different from other local musicians because his ambition is to compose music which can be accepted else where in the world.
This development has excited E - Wallet Founder Felix Njawala organizers for Sunbird Search for a Star.
In his comment Njawala said he is happy that Adrian is now working for his own single.
“This is a good development and an encouragement to E-Wallet. Our role is to unearth the Malawian talent and hearing that this years Winner is going to record his single makes us feel happy and proud.”

On the night of December 14th Adrian Kwelepeta won a Sunbird Holiday resort sponsored singing competition 'Sunbird Search for a Star.' He received a grand prize of Five hundred thousand Kwacha (K500,00) after defeating his fellow Top 5 contenders.
